Literature Text
It is bittersweet consolation,
When on your lowest of tragic days,
The sky cries you a million tears
To wash your own away.
The world seems passive
When seen through bleary eyes.
A million stolid bones collide -
The sad candor of lived out lies.
You wonder at the gaping silence,
For flapping lips have tired.
Still a million words are heard
As painful thoughts, undesired.
A heavy head carries you down
To gaze upon drowned feet -
The burden of a million stones,
Reminiscent of your heart’s defeat.
Yet with an effort of sheer desperation,
You look up to perceive what's beyond the veil
And take one of a million steps forward,
Which will bear you through the gale.
For amidst the shards and through the storm,
Only one thought and sense is clear.
You’ve survived the depths in a million falls
To heal and strengthen, despite your fear.

Well, I didn't know what to call this piece, so suggestions are welcome for a better title. I'm not upset at all, but somehow this piece came from somewhere in me. It's a sad poem, but I loved messing around with the wording, and I'm actually quite pleased with the outcome. I hope you enjoy. This one may not be up for too long.

An excellent piece. Vivid, very image-driven and -drawn. I likes it!
